A few scenes later Frieza is summoned back to life by the mighty Shenron. A little overused if you ask me but then again, how is Frieza going to be able to fight Goku again as we see him alive and well in the trailer?Īt the beginning of the film you find Frieza in his own personal hell with Care Bear like animals walking around as he snarls back at them, trapped in a cocoon, his body still cybernetic as it was in his last fight during the Trunks Saga. This is an old idea that was used several times in the Dragonball franchise, hence the title "Dragonball". So, here we are again with a new villain, Commander Sorbet on the hunt for the dragonballs since Freeza's death in the original DBZ series. We got the chance to check out the new anime movie and it's excatly what fans were hoping for. The new Dragon Ball Z film, Resurrection F, is finally heading to the West with a limited theater run, and on blu-ray.
